About Us
Automotive Hobbyists was founded in 1998 by a small group of hobbyists utilizing the resources of the Greater Seattle library system. As our needs and popularity increased, we began subscribing directly to the same information sources that the local libraries did. Now, a full 8-years later, we subscribe to virtually every major automotive database available, making us truly an automotive library. As we evolved, we transitioned from paper and mail to e-documents and email, expanding our reach and giving our members and customers very fast access to the automotive information that they need ... without spending the time searching for the information themselves at their local library.
As a research service, we manually process every request, e-printing the research material to a PDF file for the specific customer who requested it.
